Instant Walkin' Horseshoes

Gaited horses Will sometimes use a horseshoe to help exaggerate the motion and flight of the foot. This package would eliminate the need for multiple pads.

The shoe below is first nailed to the foot as any shoe would be.

The top seen is the ground surface.

Before installing the box or elevated part of the package, the bung from the top or inside could be removed and sand could be poured in, thus giving the shoe added weight, exaggerating the flight of the leg and foot. In the process of getting the right motion, the box portion could be removed with out removing the shoe and the amount of sand could be increased or decreased to achieve the desired effect.

It has been reported that mercury was used as well.

The strap attached to the rear of the shoe and comes around the hoof wall from both sides. A nut and bolt is thread through both strap ends, and tightened.
