Rolled Toe

Flat Plain Stamped Right Front with Rolled Toe

Rolled Toe

This shoe gives a perimeter fit to the foot, and gives the horse a slight break over advantage. This example is a full web roll. The roll is achieved traditionally, by hammer forging the roll into the toe of the shoe while it is hot. Today a Farrier could use an angle grinder and remove material to achieve the same end result.
